Biography
Ms. Itumeleng is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa with an LLB acquired from the University of Northwest and 6 years post qualification experience in practice. She is further in possession of the Advanced Trial Advocacy Certificate from the Black Lawyers Association and High Court Right of Appearance certificate. Throughout her career, she has successfully represented clients in various matters, always with the goal of achieving clear and effective solutions with extensive expertise in Family law, Civil law, Labour law, Deceased Estates, Protection orders as well as Criminal law at both the Magistrate and the High Court.

Her day-to-day tasks predominately consist of consulting with clients and drafting Court documents including Summons, Notices, pleadings & correspondences, possibly being the most important part of her work where she gets to ensure that the client’s instructions are meticulously captured and the relevant law applied to the facts.

She appears at both District and Regional Court, CCMA, Bargaining Councils, has an established track record of effectively conducting trials and motions and chairing disciplinary hearings.

She is passionate about staying current with legal developments in her respective fields of expertise by constant research and upkeep with recent case laws and legislations. She is a detail-oriented professional who enjoys tackling multifaceted cases and achieving the best possible outcomes for the clients. Given her focus arears in the legal spectrum she has mastered the art of combining legal expertise with emotional intelligence, the ability to assess and recognise the basis of contention and to respond strategically in a way that protects and empowers the client, all within the bounds of law.
